Mortgage Amortization
This template creates a loan amortization schedule. All figures are based on the following five inputs: Principal, Interest Rate, Loan Period (years), the Base Year and the Base Month of the loan. The Amortization Schedule is in two parts--a monthly table for the first 12 months and an annual schedule for the remaining life of the loan. The template also calculates several key figures, including Annual Loan Payments, Monthly Payments, Interest Paid in the First Calendar year, Interest Paid over the Term of the Loan, and the Sum of All Payments over the Term of the Loan. To view the template, click the worksheet tab labeled Template at the bottom of the screen or press Ctrl-PgDn. With the exception of data entry cells, all cells are protected. Use the Tab key to move from one unprotected cell to the next.
